Meet Crush, a remarkable boy from our Jeff × Midna litter, now thriving under the care of our dear friends Kimberly and Scott Clelland in Bridgewater, New Jersey. From the beginning, Crush stood out as a promising conformation and performance prospect, carrying so many of the qualities we loved in this pedigree. A true mirror image of his sire, Jeff, Crush continues to capture hearts with his striking good looks, sweet expression, and wonderful temperament.
Crush made a promising start in the show ring, earning 9 points toward his AKC Championship from the Bred-By Exhibitor classes as a puppy. As he continues searching for his majors, we are excited to bring him back out in late 2026 with the goal of finishing his championship. His journey so far has been a testament to his quality, promise, and the consistency behind this family of dogs.
Beyond the conformation ring, Crush has enthusiastically embraced a variety of performance venues, proving himself to be every bit as versatile as he is beautiful. He has earned titles in obedience, coursing, trick dog, canine good citizen, and virtual home manners, showcasing his intelligence, athleticism, and willingness to work. His exceptional temperament also earned him the honor of representing the Australian Shepherd breed at the American Kennel Club's Meet the Breeds event in New York City, where he introduced countless visitors to everything that makes the breed so special.
Crush embodies so much of what we value in our Australian Shepherds: beauty, brains, biddability, versatility, and an exceptional companion temperament. His affectionate personality and eagerness to please make him a joy whether he is competing, learning something new, or relaxing at home with Kim and Scott. We are incredibly grateful for everything they have done with him and are so proud of the life and opportunities they have given him.
We are excited to continue cheering Crush on as he explores new performance venues, adds to his impressive list of accomplishments, and returns to the show ring to complete his AKC Championship in late 2026. We have no doubt his best years are still ahead of him.
