Yankee is our pick male from the Lando x Midna litter and has been a special boy from the very beginning. Owned and loved by Sheydanis Diaz Martinez and Jillayne Parnell, Yankee embodies so many of the qualities we hoped to preserve from this combination.
With his outgoing personality, sweet nature, and endless sense of humor, Yankee reminds us more and more of his dam, Midna, every day. Like his mother, he is a goofy, fun-loving companion with a zest for life, while still possessing the eagerness to please and willingness to work that make him such a joy to live with and train.
Yankee began his show career by earning nine championship points, including both of his majors, entirely from the puppy classes. In limited shows he completed his AKC Championship in exciting fashion with a four-point major at the Wisconsin specialty under Judge Ms. Kristen Francis.
We are grateful to Paul Catterson and team for their beautiful presentation of Yankee and for helping him achieve so many of his accomplishments along the way, and to Maria Neff for handling him to a few of his points as well. Most importantly, we are forever thankful to Sheydanis Diaz Martinez for her dedication, love, and commitment to this special boy. Yankee is cherished beyond measure, and we could not be prouder to now call him an AKC Champion.
Yankee will enjoy a little time to continue maturing before returning to the show ring to begin working toward his Grand Championship. We truly believe his best days are still ahead of him, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for this sweet, silly, and very special young dog.
